Giving this a thought, only because I seem to be able to find the ammo, locally.

I know a couple of guys with upper that shoot that round and they have had plenty of trouble with feeding and jamming.  This is even with lots of time spend polishing feed ramps and ither stuff to slivk the gun up.  What i heard is that 10 round magsnworked pretty good but as you got larger capacity they had harder times feeding. Add to that if you feed it a laqured vasing and heat it up your done and need an in depth cleaning.

The only up side is that i belive that magazine's and bolt would cover a 6.5 grendel with a barrel swap which i would much prefer as a round anyway.

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I have a full Colt 762x39, works great and yet to have an issue. I have a BCA and had a few issues, had to polish everything and upgrade the firing pin and also was pretty picky on the mags as well. If you have the funds I’d say go for it!!

In my humble opinion if you're wanting to shoot x39 just get an AK.

:yeah: That's my thought as well.

I've had a few come in to the shop to tinker on to try to fix feed issues. AK's just eat

I've got one with a 20" barrel.  An older model1sales upper on an aero lower. factory trigger.  Had trouble with light primer strikes when i first got it.  Some dremel work on the firing pin and bolt, and a heavier hammer spring fixed that.  I have a 9rnd and 25rnd mag.  9rnd feeds great. 25 rnd feeds great for 13 rnds or less.  I usually only load 5-10 at a time anyways so it doesn't bother me.

When shooting steel cased wolf ammo, a couple times i had casings getting stuck in the chamber from the lacquer coating.  This was after shooting 50-100 rounds (in 5-10 round strings) in a gravel pit.  Cleaned it and then it cycled great again.

Now i just use it for coyotes around my place. That gun is 2 for 2 for dropping a coyote dead in it's tracks at about 75 yds.

I like the gun.  I prefer the feel of it over an AK.  It's definitely more accurate than the one AK i've shot. Recoil is very mild and it's plenty accurate for me. (.5" groups at 60 yds last time i shot on paper)
