White geese

Hey, does anyone have any recommendations for places to hunt white geese in GMA-2? I've never hunted them and wanted to give it a try.

Very small flock on Willapa. State lands aren't open. You'd need to knock on doors. Check out Range point. Good luck

You will want to get on the WDFW site and see what's open and close.  Most of the state public hunts as mentioned are closed currently.  It's currently open on private lands.  You will need to get out and do some scouting, locate the birds and try to get permission.  If that isn't an option for you, than you will want to get in touch with a guide outfit and see if they have any openings.  Bill Saunders with Big Guns and Eagle Lakes both have been doing decent on the white geese since Saturday's opener.

Okay, thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably go and do some scouting, see if I can find any.

You can shoot them down that way during normal season if you can locate any.  From the times I have been down in that area they are a rarity and if you do see a larger flock they are typically passing through.

Oh okay, thanks. This is my first time goose hunting, so I'm still trying to figure it out.
