Oh no, we resurrected this thread again? Ok, I'm game. Here is a "from behind" of the biggest deer I saw this year. This is the closest I saw to a 200" deer. If you want a different view of him I might be temped to post a few others. There is one of this guy from the front on the old 200" deer thread. I believe it is a 200" deer gross or really close. MM Tony is not so sure he quite meets that mark. You decide. What do you think he scores?

300mm F2.8 IS. Amazing lens. Cropped about 1/6th the originals size. Gotta love the new digitals. I've offered to take people there, but they must remain blindfolded the whole trip...lol.

Shawn, from this angle his mains look to be a little short and his tip to tip a bit lacking as well, that being said I think he would be very close. Very nice deep forks and looks to have nice symmetry as well, although his left G2 is much longer than his right, he would be in my cross hairs without question.

that's the kind of buck you shirt first then worry about the score. I'm not sure he's 200"(short looking beams) but he should be atleast 190". pretty awesome looking

Thanks for resurrecting...feel free to keep doing so and keep posting pictures of great buck guys.
I'll still get there Pope with you, especially after I get that new lens.
Just have to get it paid for first and quite working all these damn shifts. We should get some good velvet pics for these guys in August.
I think he is a 190 buck. I don't think he breaks 200. Like said by Bluebulls, shoot first ask questions later.

Digitally zoomed and cropped. The thing wouldnt let me get closer that 600 yards. You get the idea.

Going away is a terrible angle to judge an animal, but there are two here that are a no brainer regardless of angle.

Very nice....think that would have been a no-brainer, even maybe for 300 and his tag. Nice animal and isn't that camera nice for at least focumenting these fellas. Theres a reason why they don't want you within 600 yards. Any frontals of him? VERY NICE!
