I’ve been a stihl guy my whole life but those huskies are easy to work on and I love the ?72’s.  Would love to find a 3120

I use saws. A lot.  All day. 

    For most of my work, I use a 661, modded. Or a modded 461. I've had opportunity to run the new 462 and 500.
     Mostly use a 36" and a 42" inch bar.
  I really love 660's.  Obviously,  I am a Stihl guy. But I do appreciate the size of the husky grip.
 Nothing like dawging into some old growth timber, dumping a fat hooter spruce and making nice clean bucks on huge wood.

those are great saws. Good power to weight ratio.  I may pick up a few 038 mags this week

  The 661 has a 660 carb. Exhaust and intake port work. West coast saws muffler. And I change sprockets to the work I'm doing. I didn't do this work. I've never hopped a saw up myself.

I only have 2 but I want them all.

 I bought a brand new never touched wood MS390 off Craigslist years ago for $308. This 40 somethimg guy and his mom were sold way to much saw. They got home and started it. It ate the grass and they freaked out and I think were to embarrassed to go back to the store. Wouldn't have been my 1st choice for saw but it was listed for $350 and was probably close to $600 new.

I bought an 021 for $40 on Craigslist not running. The gentleman said it ran the last time he started it years ago but it sat for a number of years. I was the 1st one to leave a message on his machine. I left work after he called me back and picked it up. Bought some new fuel and spark plug on the way back to work. Change the plug and fuel. Sprayed the card with cleaner and cleaned the spark arrestor and it fired up on the 3rd pull. Sold the saw for $150 to a customer 10 years later and bought a ms250 off offerup for $125 because I thought I wanted something just a bit bigger for my small saw. Not sure I did the right thing but it runs good and cuts well.

I think I'd like a 361 or 461.

And a new 500i

love my 361.  Like cutting with a lightsaber.  We call the 361 the firewood king

I wish my old husky 365 would die so I could get something new and shiny. Run a skiptooth comp chain  28” and it just keeps cutting even after banging around in the weather in truck bed for like 20 hunting seasons.
