I'm in for elk but went with the super hard to draw hunts. guess if I'm going all the way to New Mexico it's going to be for a really good hunt.

I'm also in, or will be... trying to wait til the very last part of the day to see if I can get the charge to show up on my next month credit card statement and avoid those financing charges...

I'm in for sheep, deer and elk. Fingers crossed. I at least feel like I have a chance in states with no point system. Even if the odds are just as bad as other states.  :chuckle:

my odds of drawing a new mexico archery elk tag are greater than drawing a quality eastside archery elk tag with 12 points :DOH:

The boy won an out-of-state deer tag last year, which was our first experience going to NM. He killed an ordinary mule deer buck, but it was still a great hunt; one that we'll both never forget.

I too waited until the last couple of hours and ended up putting him in for Deer, Elk, Speed Goat, Oryx, Ibex, and Bighorn. 5 weeks until we find out!
