Has anyone built a 338RUM on a Tikka action with a carbon fiber barrel?

I have not and I doubt it makes much sense as I believe max COAL For a tikka is around 3.56. You will be approaching 3.75 if you plan on running 300gr SMK or Bergers. I think factory ammo is 3.6

Tikkas aren't real great for long action calibers with long bullets. They're perfect for wsm cases with long bullets.

I have really great luck shooting 225 sst out of my Rem 700 in
338 RUM at about 3040fps. Was just curious if a 338 could be done on the T3 platform. That's my son's favorite platform.

You could probably do it if you plan on shooting 225s. Not sure about feeding as I've never seen a tikka t3 in any rum cartridges.
