Opening Day FUN!!!
« on: April 26, 2009, 01:33:37 PM »
Well went out with my dad yesterday (opener) and had a blast fishing. Besides the combat fishing the entire day went really good. My dad, my wife, oldest daughter and I came close to limiting. My wife got a german brown that was around 25" and 5 pounds, we got several others in the 3 pound range. On our way home I know of a juvenile pond so we stopped there so my daughter had a better chance at catching some fish all by herself. Well to make a long story short, she limited in about 15-20 minutes, probable loosing more than 20 fish in the process. She had a blast. Enjoy the pics.

If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

I notice a tongue sticking out in one of those pics
I've slowed down enough in my old age to finally let the game catch up to me

Great pics, glad your little one had fun! Those browns look nice! They sure dont put many in around the columbia basin. I like catching trout that are not rainbows all the time!!
