Any good ideas for backseat/fold flat floor gun rack?
«

I'm looking to set up a rifle rack or storage utilizing the fold flat floor of my Ram 2500 CCLB. What I have in mind is a shallow box with a space for two scoped hunting rifles and ideally some compartments for misc items. I thought I'd check here for ideas to see if someone has done similar or if there's a good one available commercially. Thanks

Truck Vault makes some. They’re really good quality but expensive. If you’re handy, you could probably copy it and save tons of cash.

Thanks, I’m thinking more like an open tray, but that’s good info and I might be able to get some design ideas. I appreciate you sharing this

Oh, I misunderstood. I think WeatherTech makes a tray that fits under the back seat.

I plan to do something like this
Under rear seat
Cut carpet then foam then use stainless warming tray in recessed area

I found a soft sided 4 rifle “rack” that hangs from the headrests
Works great.
Might look into a roof (ceiling mounted) rack also

I have Du-Ha that is custom fit for under my back seat that works great! I think you're thinking of laying it on-top of the flat floor so it might not work great, They have several different styles one of those might work??
