I would bring it. This is a good time for bass fishing. I don't really fish Tri Cities so can't share any specific spots. I would look for bays/sloughs where spawning may occur. Good luck, have fun!

Plenty of bass around.
Drop shots on the lower snake by rocks. Plastics and spinners all along the sloughs in Burbank.

Bring yur boat, bass bonanza on the snake and columbia through there. Look for areas off the main river or flats on the snake, should be loading up.

Thinking I’ll tow the boat over, is Mcnary open for fishing?

If you can get to it with your boat from the big water, you can fish it. Burbank sloughs, around the peninsula unit, two rivers, Casey pond, wallula, all bass fishable.

There's been many of bass caught with crankbaits along the tracks been the peninsula and two rivers. You might have company now that I've said that on a public forum...
I'm just trying to keep crawfish alive by you catching bass. Also, the bass around here eat like halibut, keep them all.
I'm only kidding about some of that, good luck fishing!
