Wader Question
« on: June 27, 2021, 01:53:04 PM »
I just recently started getting back into fishing and want to buy new waders.  I have a brand new pair of wading shoes that went over my old neoprene waders that now leak. Should I buy a pair of waders with the socks or are waders with rubber boots a better option?

Thanks guys.

Mike Henne
PS:  I’m off all summer if someone needs a fishing partner for the day(s).  Open to anything g.

Go with stockingfoot.

I personally have Simms G3 waders. Going 7 years on the same pair with no issues.

My first few pairs were the cheapies because I figured they’re all made the same, surely spending that much on waders is a waste but I’ve been proven wrong.

Stocking foot is nice for the versatility, just make sure the booties fit well. I’m 6’2 and most “XL” sized waders seem like they’re made for guys with size 9 feet(I wear size 12)  Simms makes waders that fit just about everybody and they’ll do custom pairs if you need a super unusual size, but you’ll pay dearly for them. I like redington and caddis for fit, redington has a great warranty dept, haven’t had to deal with caddis yet.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

I really like the Dryft stocking foot waders for fishing. Now for duck hunting I only wear the boot foot.

Second vote for Dryft, I love the waders and they are a local company based out of Bellingham
