Fishing Guides on Washington Coast Rivers

Been a decade or longer since fishing over on the coastal rivers for Steelhead.  Does anyone have a recommendation on a good guide for Steelhead?

If you are going to Forks area, my friend Mike Zavadlov, Mike Z's guide service is top notch. He does not provide a lodge, you would camp or stay in local hotel.   :twocents:

Thanks for the tip.  Been so long I don't even remember the rivers we fished but we caught fish both times I went and that is what we did last time too, was stay at a hotel in that area.  I shall look him up and see what he has for packages etc.  Much appreciated!

Just a heads up. Last year there was no fishing from the boat which was very limiting. Definitely won’t be an experience similar to past. Last I heard the rule will continue next season.

Not being allowed to fish from boat will likely not be re-instated for steelhead as any of the restrictive rules WDFW impose never never losen up. If you haven't fished up there in a while try the fall coho run, a blast and tons of fish. But if you are set on steelhead get after it sooner than later because it will be shut down eventually.  It will be interesting to see if tribal steelhead netting occurs this fall especially on the HOH.
