Did you draw or a friend/family member?

Any chance you will be back to report how the hunt went, photos, etc.?

I guess I would kinda agree if you are looking for any bull.  I called my first moose in on opening day back in 19' when I drew with my buddy, it was about a 3.5-4 year old bull.  Pretty small in my book.  Took my buddy to the spot the next day and called in a 2.5 year old that he decided to kill.  I continued hunting hard for 10 days, all day. Only saw about 4 bulls and 2 cows.  In my book it was a tough hunt, ended up with an 8 year old bull that I'm very pleased with.  Hunt hard, keep driving the roads, get behind some of those many locked gates and call, have patience!!!  It took the two bulls I called in exactly 1 hour for them to respond.  Have fun, and get some bear spray, I'm sure you have a side arm but spray will also chase away any pissed off mama cows.

exactly! these units are a mere fraction of what they were 10 years ago. I had a buddy draw a tag and they spent weeks looking for a decent bull and shot a younger one near the end.

Better hunt it like it's the last moose tag in the state.
Every year moose are turning in to wolf turds and dust in the wind.
Goodluck on the hunt.
Better drop one while there are a still a few to drop.
