I am not sure this topic has been raised yet. I also received the WDFW notice about returning special draw tags (due to fire closures), which I think is a very nice program.
But has anybody seen information about leftover multi-season tags (specifically, for elk)? Last year, due to Covid, WDFW simply contacted the next-in-line to inquire whether the hunter wanted the tag--a really good idea. But I didn't see if the state did this or not, for 2021.
Any information?
