Not a monster but will be good eating. Only my third archery buck and my first in velvet. Anybody have a trick to getting it off easy? If I was doing more than a European mount I might want to preserve it but it is in pretty rough shape already.

I went out the 1st-3rd and saw three does. The bucks we have been seeing on a fairly regular basis have yet to show themselves. Going back out this weekend

No shooters this weekend but did see 2 does and 4 fawns. 1 of the does had 3 fawns, all 4 were awfully small for this time of year.
Some animals WERE harmed in the making of this Hunter. They were also dragged through the dirt, butchered and tasted delicious fried with butter and bacon.

Pasayten High Hunt: Young 5x3 Saturday evening, .243 @ 130yds. 45°downward angle. Had this deer on camera all summer.
