Call me crazy......(gunsmith recommendations)
« on: September 12, 2021, 08:49:22 PM »
Alright guys, so I’ve been kicking around the idea of threading my browning a bolt. It’s my main hunting rifle, I use it for all my big game that I rifle hunt.  I’ve been wanting a suppressor for a while now, tired of the ringing ears after firing at an animal. The only thing is my a bolt has a octagon barrel. I’d like to find a gunsmith capable of threading the barrel, making a octagon thread protector and timing it to line up with the barrel. I’ve seen some people do it on lever guns, so it’s not impossible! Thanks for any leads!

Maybe this?  They work great.

Probably have to time it to line up which defeats the self timing aspect tho
