You guys need to look at the decoys that have swinging heads, or move with a slight breeze. A real tail fan on a tom decoy has great movement. Here is another trick to introduce motion to your deke. Instead of using the wing nut washer and post that secures the body to the post, drill a small pin hole a couple of inches back. Use a pointed post with just a small part of the tip through your pin hole. A strong fart will set that thing to moving.
Dekes are a great tool to use in the right situation.

The pretty boy decoy with your own fan is one of the best and easiest to use decoys...good luck
