The Last Laugh?
« on: December 06, 2021, 11:56:05 AM »
Ahh...To be young again, so many lessons to learn. If we could just turn back the hands of time and do it all over again......Well since that's not likely, how about a book written before many of you were even a twinkle in your Father's Eye.
Full of Fishing Humor (concerning many of the things you too have had happen while out chasing the elusive slimy ones.) Time to look back and Laugh. :chuckle:

Reminds me somewhat of Patrick F. McManus.  ;)

I used to buy the sports afield magazine for his stories. Best ever when it came to educating with a sense of humor.

ASHQUACK, My favorite Patrick McManus story is called "The Outfit" found on page 156 in Field and Stream Magazine, October 1975. (He tells the story of his friend Harold Munster and himself, out Camping.)

I remember that one!
Read it in my dentists office. Only reason I ever went, willingly.
