593 miles.  I’ll need to break that up (and wait for the snow to melt) but it looks like an awesome ride.  I'll put it on the list for this summer.  Thanks.

Throw it on a trailer, drive it up to Disgusta, MT and drive it through Glacier.

I like driving on the Olympic Peninsula as well.

It’s broken up into sections for you.

Did a lap around south Whidbey on Tues.  Weather was iffy and there were patches of black ice to deal with.  Maybe not my smartest move but I made it home alive.

Maybe Chuckanut next dry payment day.

Go south out of Randle to FR 25 it pops out down near lake merwin then go west
Closed in winter
Asphalt scenery and curves
Fun rd

Extend that by turning east on FR90 before Swift Reservoir, over Curly Cr. Rd. to Carson and Hwy 14 west to I-5.  More asphalt scenery and curves.

Both areas here are good rides, just be careful as there is some asphalt heaving in some areas.😉

What kind of riding? Gravel ,pavement, trails? Are you street legal or enduro

Street legal.  My bike is dual sport and is quite capable in gnarly terrain, my old body however, not so much.  I prefer blacktop, hard packed gravel or dirt.  I’m not a fan of miles of loose gravel and I’d rather not ride roads where I need a mouth guard to keep my teeth from rattling.

That said, I’ll probably do some of the Joe Watt when that opens.

Be careful on FR 90 between Cougar and Curly Cr. Rd. It's a great stretch if you need to dislodge a kidney stone.

Any place away from the idiotsticks along the I-5 corridor!! The 101 loop around the peninsula is always a great ride and plenty of places to stop and relax. Taking Hwy 20 all the way to the border and then Hwy 2 back is also a great weekend ride, take some backroads or the old hiways away from the congestion.

 :yeah:

The 101 Loop is a great ride from Aberdeen up the coast, plenty of side trips like Neah Bay, Sekiu, etc.. then around through Brinnon and down Hood Canal. Then east around to Belfair.

That stretch down from Sequim to Shelton past Brinnon scares the hell out of me and I dont even ride bikes. Every summer I see or hear of at least a couple riders getting killed on that stretch. More seriously injured. Couldnt tell you how many times Ive seen Life flight at Dosiwallups park taking out bikers.  And a lot of those arent the riders fault! If you take that route, please be very careful!

It's waiting for you.

I have one that I picked up in December.  It is a fun bike to ride.  Fits an interesting niche.  Planning on camping with it a lot this spring and summer.

I got the KLR out of the garage for a quick trip around the perimeter of Camano, for a shake down.
Stopping at view spots and parks. Saw whales (greys?)
Great little ride, got a couple tune ups to do and might do a Darrington loop tomorrow

Cool.  Looks like we have about 24 more hours of good weather, makes sense to get out and take advantage it.

Laat summer I thought I was gonna ironbutt a ride to my Idaho hunting spot, made it 50 miles + a good bit of side excursions, and my butt and back was hurting bad.

Had to rethink a BDR trip  :chuckle:

I’ve scratched the BDR off my list of perspective rides after watching a couple Youtube vids.  Seems like it’s just a commercialization of the sport to sell farkle to doctors and dentists so they can trick out their BMWs and subsequently drop $30K and 600lbs of bike down a nasty gravel hill.

Maybe 30 years ago, with a proper enduro bike.
