"There are differences across the spectrum. Most often, people that really aiming to the greatest sound reduction, they will choose caliber specific suppressors instead of over boring. With that can also come a difference in weight and size. Additionally, your intended use should dictate what you choose. Some people want to suppress their 5.56 coyote bolt action. Some people want to suppress their 5.56 SBR AR and shooting 5,000 rounds a year. Those are to vastly different sets of needs and that should dictate what options are on the table."
