All-

This is a major fundraiser for the in-state organizations that are fighting to maintain our hunting and outdoor rights here in Washington.

I've been to this event a few times and it's always a good time and it's all for an even better cause.

It'll sell out quick.

I wish it luck but the thing that always gets me (not just Washington) is why are the sportsman’s conventions always in the major blue cities that want zero to do with sportsman?

Easy answer...because that's where the largest concentration of the hunting population lives.

Also, I get your intent with the analogy, but it's exactly backward.

Socialism is the philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. - Winston Churchill

I was told to try tomorrow.  Issues should be cleared up then.

Julie told me earlier to wait till tomorrow. Some problem with the payment system. Should be resolved by tomorrow.

So I googled "seattle sportsmens convention" and it came up with the WASHINGTON
SPORTSMEN'S SHOW; FEBRUARY 2 – 6, 2022 at the WASHINGTON STATE FAIR EVENTS CENTER in PUYALLUP, WASHINGTON.

If one only has enough free time and hall passes from family stuff to go to one of these, any thoughts on which would be better or more interesting?

This is a banquet. Dinner, drinks, speakers, auctions, raffles, games,  etc.
The sportsman show in Puyallup is a bunch of vendors and booths and boats and gear stuff that would probably interest everyone, at least somewhat.

Thanks for sharing the info & good luck with the banquet. Sucks I'll be out of town that weekend or I'd come up to support.
