Who's the best hunter? CAR PARTS
« on: January 25, 2022, 12:34:50 PM »
Keeping a long story short, if you can find a rear brake caliper for a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD DUALLY (SRW caliper won't work), I will shower you in blessings and you will be crowned HuntWa's best Car Part Hunter.

Here is the P/N: 13512713

Find it at a junk yard? GREAT.

Aftermarket? SWELL.

NEW? Doubt it...

Good luck

I just googled that PN and got almost 5000 hits.

I did the same. The first 5 I looked at were all on backorder.

Gundie's has nothing, although I'm not sure I'd want to be putting used calipers on my truck.

1 dealer can probably hit their parts locator and tell you everything you need to know nationwide.

Yea, well, when the truck is responsible for thousands of dollars of business and is out of order without a caliper, you'd do it

Any if the guys in the biz check with OLY or SAD for this guy?
You could check with Goldline about having yours rebuilt, wont be next day turnaround but it could be your ticket.
Can’t be that hard to find, if i was still in that biz id help.
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Yea, I saw that as soon as I started looking too. Definitely estimated, I doubt it will even ship. But it's worth the order ;)

https://www.gmpartsonline.net/oem-parts/gm-caliper-13512713?c=Zz1icmFrZXMmcz1yZWFyLWJyYWtlcyZsPTUmbj1Bc3NlbWJsaWVzIFBhZ2UmYT1jaGV2cm9sZXQmbz1zaWx2ZXJhZG8tMzUwMC1oZCZ5PTIwMjAmdD1sdHomZT02LTZsLXY4LWRpZXNlbA%3D%3D

Anything "gmpartsonline" or "oemparts" that has the GM logo and the factory exploded diagram view of the part is a GM dealer parts website and they're all backordered with no ETA ;)

I'm assuming that you called Schull's Auto Wrecking/Brewster Car Care Center since they are up the road from you?
