Good morning fellow Sportsman!
As most of you know, our state is under attack by anti-hunters. The attempt to remove the Spring Bear season is the first step, followed up several days ago by a proposal to remove baiting for deer and elk. Without going into specifics, statistics, numbers, and a whole host of other reasons why this is bad for wildlife management, it's time to get 'all hands-on deck' in opposition. Numerous organizations are in the fight such as MeatEater, Blood Origins, Sportsman Alliance, etc. There is one that is fairly new, only 4 weeks old, but doing AMAZING work and steps towards the anti-hunting movement. HOWL for Wildlife, started by Charles Whitman. I urge you to go their website and join, howlforwildlife.org. Joining, they take all the legwork out of the fight and make templates to be sent to legislators, WDFW commissioners, etc. All you do is submit these letters with a click of a button along with providing you with easy links that take you directly to emails to voice your opinion to the decision makers on these issues. As of 2 days ago HOWL was primarily responsible for getting the Senate Bill in Colorado killed that would ban all cougar hunting in the state. The fight isn't easy or cheap. Soo.....WERE DOING A RAFFLE!!
This is a raffle for a DEER SHOULDER MOUNT, to be done here at BlackRiver Taxidermy, completed in 6 months or less upon receiving antlers and cape. (If you need a cape for a set of antlers you've been wanting to mount, I can accommodate you!). Furthermore, my friend Jim Huntsman from the Western Huntsman Podcast just also threw in a Phelps Elk Bugle Package and Western Huntsman T-Shirt as well!
Details-
1.Tickets are $10 Each, no limit to how many you can purchase.
2.Enter via stopping at the shop or go onto Paypal and send your name, phone number, # of tickets you purchasing and funds to blackrivertaxidermy@gmail.com
3.Drawing for the winner will be February 13th approximately 1 hour after the Superbowl. A live feed on BlackRiver Taxidermy will be shown, you need not present or watching to win, winner will be given a phone call after the drawing and mailed a certificate for the shoulder mount.
4. EVERY TICKET COST/ALL PROCEEDS will be given to HOWL for their continued fight for us in Washington.

Preserve our rights and management. We just recorded a podcast last night with the Western Huntsman here at BlackRiver Taxidermy. Guests here were some powerhouses in the bear knowledge and hunting world to include Skylar Masters (Titan Outdoors), Beau Olson (Wilderness Expeditions LLC), and Mike Herz (avid bear hunter and researcher).
