Is there any way to fix an overpowering flash on digital photos?

Does your camera allow you to adjust the flash compensation?

Sorry, I guess I should explain a little more. I have some trail camera pictures that I think were taken too close to the subject. So now I have multiple over exposed pics. I read a little about possibly being able to fix it with some layering in CS4 but I don't have that program. So is there any way to fix photos that have already been taken?

If they are overexposed you have problems that you won't be able to repair.

The program that comes with the Sony W90 should do it.

You would have a better chance if you shoot in RAW
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

How close is your camera set up to the animal?
