La Push Lingers
« on: May 11, 2009, 06:17:40 PM »
Went out over the weekend with Robodad, Bigiron, and Bookworm to do a little ling fishin.  We only fished one day and did ok.  The boat got limits of 10 lings, and about 50 seabass.  Lots of good eats.  Got a few pictures...

First picture was a picture Robodad, Bigiron and I took.  We started by drinking a few beers and then headed down to the beach.  Tripod and a long exposure later we were good to go with a sunset picture.

Next up is fishing action.  This is Bookworm spooling down for a seabass.  I gotta say, he's the sea bass slayer.  Seems like he caught most of the sea bass keepers.  I was fishing 3 feet from him and could only catch small ones?  I guess not every guy can have a big one...

Next up is some fishing action from Robodad and Bigiron.  Robodad is on the left with the seabass.  The guide is attending to the fish and Bigiron is gazing at the action.

Lastly is the four of us and 8 of the 10 lings we caught.  Some didn't make it in the photo and there are about 50 seabass to go with these.  They tasted good.

I took a couple pics under the watchfull eye of the pro so here is one, hope it's ok !!

Yep stink's all gone Cohoho but I didn't catch any keepers so I still need to go several more times to get it all off !!!  :chuckle:

:yeah: I've always wanted to go out there fishing. You talked about a big ling hole? Cost more to head out farther?
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Randy Lato is the guy we fished with and  he was great, and yep it is $175 to go to the BIG ling hole but it is weather and WDFW permitting so plan accordingly !!
