Best small truck on the market by a long long long ways!  They will go anywhere, rarely break down, hold there value , you can’t beat a yota if you want a smaller pick up truck.

Ive owned 3 brand new and still wish I had all of them.
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

For the price you'd pay for a newer Tacoma you could buy multiple used trucks in the same weight class and tons of fuel and maintenance costs. I got a 06 F150 for under 6 grand. Everyone knows how to work on them and it's the same size as those new tacos just 15-17mph instead of 16-19. Heck you can get Dakotas and rangers for under $5k. Knowing the type of people who buy new cars you probably won't listen. Have fun with payments.

You definitely don’t know me. I have never bought a new truck in my life. I have didn’t years waiting for the right rig and right deal and bought used. I wouldn’t be asking for info on here if I was one of those people that had tons of money and just marched into a dealership and bought a rig on a whim.

I need a reliable rig that will last for the invest I’m going to make and I’m trying to get real world feedback and thoughts from guys that understand things that I don’t.

I am 6’1 and a big great dude. That being said I run around in a Jeep Wrangler for all my local stuff and have no problems with the space in the cab.

This is a long range reliable rig with warranty. I may use as a street run around for one of my business as well.

There, I fixed it for you.  :chuckle:

Still amazes me how many patriots buy foreign vehicles. Doesnt matter where the cars are "assembled," the money still goes back over seas to the manufacture. Support USA all the way

Can you name one manufacturer that makes and assembles ALL of their parts/vehicles right here in the good ol' USA? To your point, I'm sure whatever vehicle your driving has monies going to our neighbors to the north and south or overseas.  :twocents:

I assume you are a ford guy?
GM and Dodge both had to accept welfare to even remain a viable corporation.
And even ford required some “free” money to stay afloat.
Please enlighten us on what manufacturers are 100% US based with materials and labor?

I’ll wait…

This is a thread about Tacomas. Feel free to start another thread about people who buy foreign cars. It's like Facebook. When you see a post you don't like, move to the next one or post your own.

I put the rear seat spacers in this afternoon. So far, the seat seems comfortable. The wife and I will take a longer ride this afternoon and we'll see how that goes.

My 21 TRD Pro was built in Texas and barged around and up to Seattle. I followed the whole process. I'd say that's pretty close to being American made. :dunno:

Mine too, built by UAW workers in San Antonio. Most of the parts for "American-made" autos are imported  - chips, electronics, steel, glass, etc. There is very little obvious differences to auto manufacturing and labor between imported and domestic anymore. When you buy Toyota, you're supporting American auto workers, mechanics, dealership people, etc. It isn't like the 1920s where everything was manufactured here. It just isn't anymore.
