Goat / Ewe pics
« on: May 12, 2009, 08:41:10 PM »
Let's see if this works correctly, first time posting pics.  These were taken on a trip to Mt. Evans just outside of Denver, the highest road in North America, over 14,000 ft.  I seriously got altitude sickness just walking and climbing a few steps.  These animals posed for a few good pictures.

Mt Evans is very cool - thanks - been a while.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

The Ewe actually smudged her nose against my car window, she was the lead bitch, always shoving the others around, when she got near they would scatter.  Had to roll my window up for fear of her doing something strange.  The Goat was a big boy, could have reached out and touched him also.  I know virtually nothing of how they are scored but he looked like a wall hanger.  There was a very large Ram in the distance that I could not get a good pic of, just didn't have the lens for it.  The goats and rams mingled together.  The Ewe's were a very ghostly looking creature, kind of eery.

Looks like a pretty cool trip. Funny how the critters hang out that close to the road, ran into that alot on the AK highway a few years ago.
