Just to be clear here. I am in no way asking for a hand out and certainly don’t want it to come across that way. I just have no idea about fishing spots on this side of the state. I appreciate all the responses.

I don't think anyone on here would call this a handout.

You guys are much too generous. I don’t even know what to say or how to thank you all. As things progress and we have a better idea of timelines, I will let you all know. I know once we are out of the hospital he has to  be within 1 hour of Seattle until around mid July, by then his immune system will be kicking in a little and he will have a little more freedom.

If he is Jonesing for bass, we can hook him up there too.  I know several of us have full tournament set-ups.  I have everything needed up in Snohomish County but can travel too.  Several lakes to choose from.  Decent shots at good size smallies and largies.  You just show up and the rest is covered.

I would also throw in for the charter if that is the main plan.

Count me in if you need lodging for an overnight somewhere the night before or after a fishing trip. I'll cover 1 night.

Also, I live near Bremerton and would be glad to take him out this summer or fall for salmon. If he's not strong enough to get out this summer, let's plan a trip for next summer. We would be glad to host you for a couple days, put you guys up in an AirBnB, and cover your transportation costs and meals.

You and your wife (I'm assuming) are probably exhausted too and need a break. Let me know if you're able to get away for a night or two. I'd be glad to donate a couple nights at an airbnb to unwind and rest (even if it means later this fall when your little man is out of the hospital).

Nobody on a charter boat is easy, we just book out the boat for you. Could be just you and your son and the boat crew. Im an east side so not much help logistically but I'll offer up the first $100 to make whatever needs done done.

As for not asking for handouts, you lost a say in that after you posted because thats what we do here sir    let your boy know we are all in his corner. He is in the best place he could possibly be.

I am wondering if it would be better to start ‘smaller’, depending on how he is doing? He may not have much stamina.
Maybe a pan fish outing to start with? Still working on getting my boat repaired or I would offer.
Lake Wa or Samamish would be a good fit distance and fishing quality.
