Appreciate all the input and advice. I think I’m going to get a couple pfleuger presidents. Lots of good reviews and recommendations.

I like the Shimano spirex with those rapid fire systems.

You should look into the Dawai BG line of reels.  They are great reel and run about $120 bucks.  Best lower cost reel out there if you can’t afford a Stradic.

Me too. Quickfire 2 is what they call it I guess.

I actually bought the first one they made that had the one finger bail flipper design back in the early 80's. It was called Fast Cast then before they went to Quickfire a year or 3 later if i remember right.
