I have been using the Kenetreks for a while and got a new pair last year... the new ones aren't near as good as the older version... a little disapointed.

I agree. I’m thinking about trying to put some sort of draw string around and through the top of them. Put on 7 miles in a rain storm the other day and the weight of my wet pants was pushing my gaitors down my shins.

PEAX all the way... Have many sets trying to find "THE" pair, only using PEAX now, no longer searching!

I've tried Peax and OR. OR seem to be the standard, but I've always struggled with them staying up and comfortable. All made outside USA.

Check out Stone Glaciers. Made in USA and their Velcro system to custom fit around your leg is a game changer for me. Replaceable bottom strap material should it wear out. These will be the only ones I will recommend going forward.

I have used first lite and honestly they don’t hold up, outdoor research USA are my pick . I did last season purchase a set from TANDKHUnting and there American made and super heavy duty but there so heavy duty there dang near snake gators little too much for me

This was my exactly complaint for mine too. Can never keep them up where they should be even when cinched as tight as they go

Stone Glaciers are the only ones that don't do that for me.

I can't get the right fit with the OR crocs. I've got skinny legs I guess. Size 12 boot and if I go with XL or L they're too baggy for my liking. If I go size M they're not long enough to get up and over my calf. Anyone else have trouble with the fit? Any big foot/skinny legged guys find a gator that fits well?

Outdoor Research does make amazing gaiters. I have a buddy with the Kenetreks, and they "do the job". I've had FL Brambler for quite some time and they're probably the favorite ones I've used. Just have them in brown but they're easy on and easy off and stay put. Very comfortable, too.

I've had the OR Crocs for quite a while now. I don't use them too often, but they work great when I do.
