Hunting regulation errors
« on: June 16, 2022, 10:13:16 AM »
Right after the reg's came out I noticed an error for the "youth desert deer hunt". the end date was dec 13th when it has been dec 31st for years. I called then, early April, and asked about it. The response was that I was correct and it would be updated in the "corrections to regulations". So cool right. Nope it didn't get into the first two updates. I called again last week. got a call back that the dec 13th end date is correct. They directed me to the region 2 office for an explanation.  The biologist said yes he put the wrong date but it had already been signed off by the wildlife commission so the the fix will happen next year. He said it was his fault. I said everyone makes mistakes. In my opinion the commission is at fault for not letting the correction happen. By the way the WAC rule still shows the end date as the 31st soooo. wth  Thoughts?

Update. I just looked at the "corrections to regulations". One of the changes is revised dates.  :bash:
