I was fortunate to draw the late hunt for 65 and older 16-31-2023. I have a muzzy tag. Have reached out to the Bio for the area. Will be driving out with my wife as co-pilot figuring out the boundaries soon. It's run between two regions 5 and 6 and two counties, but am told regions 6 is the lead.
Lots of private land and with timber companies involved.
Will also reach out to the conflict resolution team also.
Would appreciate any information possible from those that know the area.
This is like having a third season so all my planning may not be needed.
I'm starting early on this because with door knocking and figuring the unit out it will take longer with all the private land owners in the unit. If I need to trade some time with an farmer for access not afraid of that either.
