New hunter needs help/a mentor.
« on: August 28, 2022, 12:40:59 PM »
Hi I would like to to get into hunting. Never hunted before. Looking for someone to teach me and share their wisdom. I've got a 308 bolt action rifle, and bought some hunting gear (not all of it though). I've passed my hunting education course and got a license. Looking to start with hunting dear this year.  About myself. I am 40, union electrician (local 46). I grew up in harsh Russians Ural Mountains (south), have a backpacking experience and being outdoors is not a problem for me. I have a pretty good attitude and looking for someone alike. I am located in Bothell, WA. Please feel free to PM me, thanks.

Too bad you aren’t in Alaska
The way that you wander, is the way that you choose
The day that you tarry, is the day that you lose

Got a shotgun? You’re a bit north but you’re welcome to jump in the duck blind this winter.

He has not been active in a while, but message  kukusya. I have had a couple of good interactions with him.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Konstantin, I'm a Master Hunter who needs a partner this year.  I hunt Eastern WA and would be glad to get you started.  I live in Everett and will be hunting deer on October 15 opening day and maybe a few days in the following two weeks.  I will hunt elk west of Yakima building camp on October 28 for up to 9 days.  You'll need a deer tag for the deer, and an Eastern Washington Modern Firearm tag for elk.  Your 308 is great and you'll need to get it sighted in.  I'm planning on doing this Friday here in Everett.  Fred Zoeller  fzoeller@frontier.com
