I have 5 boxes of Hornady 225 gr SST for it. BC .515 and 2750 fps at the barrel. My biggest question really is the physical capability of the actual rifle. All my long distance rifles are heavy barrels, floated stocks and custom triggers. This is pretty much the opposite 😂 The pic I attached is the exact same rifle.

It’s pretty accurate but idk if it’s a 500 yard gun. I love carrying it though it’s my family’s favorite gun to use when we go. I loan it out to them. I have 225 interbonds and 225 SST. The SST grenade and cause crazy damage. Haven’t killed anything with the interbonds though

Accuracy is in barrel and chamber and right load free floated bsrrell and good trigger helps knowing what your bullet does at what distance also

This is just a stock Ruger compact magnum. I have the right load but it’s not a rifle not designed for long range. Was seeing if anyone had pushed one similar out around 500-600 and what kind of groups they could hold.
