Harts lake bank fishing and lunch
« on: September 24, 2022, 05:19:21 PM »
Good day on the bank with my oldest, he got a personal best yellow perch. Coconut crusted perch fingers and blue gill fillets for lunch!

Nice job!  Those look delicious!

How is the crappie and bass fishing up there these days?

Used to camp there many years ago and did a lot of fishing for crappie and bass along the pads that lined the banks.

Also caught some nice trout off end of the dock next to the launch.

Crappie and bluegill were absolutely fire this summer during the spawn this is my main targeted lake for panfish freezer filling and I don't think I have ever left empty handed. A scatter trout once in a while though I don't target them specifically and this year several good size bullheads on a crank bait. I have never targeted the bass but catch a few here and there and yesterday a fella was shooting a YouTube video from his boat and he was working the bass over pretty well I saw several nice 2-3lb fish make it to his boat
