Shotgun fitting
« on: November 12, 2022, 09:36:37 PM »
I have a Berretta A400 upland. Doesn't fit me well & having issues with accuracy.  Looking for someone to assess & alter if needed.
Located in Prosser, Wa.

A lot of shotguns now are coming with shim kits to change the drop and caster yourself. If yours didn't, you can order it from Beretta for pretty cheap.

Mike Pulson in Montana is a pro. That’s who my stepdad used. If you have the shims and such and access to a pattering board, you can do it yourself. The pro guy in MT is big $$ and custom stocks.

Did you read the directions for adding or changing shims? You tube can be your friend in tweaking your mount and shot.

Wouldn’t it be easier to sell the gun and shop for one that fits you better?

When I was looking for my upland gun I really wanted a Browning O/U but they just didn’t feel right.  I tried a few different guns and eventually bought a Beretta Silver Pigeon.  It just comes right up inline and felt perfect for me.  Wasn’t my first or second choice but sure glad I got it.

Just making a suggestion.  Good luck!

Didn't come with any. Found a few vids online, but they were mostly to change it to a left hander.

Takes some time for the measuring, plus driving down, then driving down to pick it up, but it was well worth it to get the wife's firearm adjusted to her. I suppose he could mail it after it is done.
