Great picture of an old warrior. If the state keeps going this direction we will only be shoot deer via camera.
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

That's a cool buck bone, wish we had age class bucks like that where I'm at.

Again, awesome photo's.
One question-- you post some deer under photo section and some under deer.
What is the decision maker?
I guess two questions-- do you not spend much time in Elk country?
Thanks for the great wildlife Photos!!

Generally speaking, under the photo section it has to do with a topic for which others can contribute, like open for all to add.  Under deer hunting it’s more specific for a particular critter.

As for the elk. I used to but the hospital I worked for closed and I lost most of my vacation accrual.  12 hours a pay period to 3.  That cut into my time a bunch.  Mule deer are my favorite, moose second, elk third.   I posted a couple elk photos on here but people had little interest.

I hope that answers your questions.

Thank you Wadu, very nice of you to say. I appreciate it.

Thank you guys!

Not so bad sky, I hope there are even animals left to do that.

Cool.

He looks old to me, but I'm no aging expert.

How old would you guess?

Basing a lot of it on antlers which isn’t the smartest thing to do, but with the limited time I had with him figure 8.5 plus.
