massive whitetail (pictures)
« on: November 16, 2007, 12:13:15 PM »
here are a couple of shots of a friend's buck he got on the morning of 11/16/07.
He was on his way home and I caught a glimpse of antler over his truck bed and followed him home, he got it in GMU 113. it is very massive and has a drop point on one side and an extra point on the other, these pictures don't do it justice and I'll try to get more later.

Nice buck. Was that taken from a place that most of us can not hunt?

no, it was taken on public land in GMU 113 about ten miles north of usk and less than a mile from the river. every picture I've taken or posted here was public land. and either GMU 113 Selkirk or 117 49 Degrees North. My friend & I are Indian/Native American but we buy tags and hunt within the seasons just like everyone else, just in case you thought they were taken on the reservation.

I'd be glad to nail that deer. Cool looking rack.
