Time to look for a new rig. Diesel at $1.80 a gallon more than gas, time to change to gas. Let me know if you have a truck to sell.

Get a new GMC or Chevy1500 with the 3.0 Duramax, 22 mpg city and up to 30 on freeway! That’s my next truck! I have a 2016 F-150 crew long bed king ranch for sale!

I check both sites. I have an 06 GMC CC with Duramax. Gas is $1.80 cheaper a gallon.

Elkaholic is talking @ a different duramax. The 3.0 is a 6 banger they put in their 1500 pickups.

That’s what I did
I’m happy with a 38 gallon tank and 420 miles to a tank and a buck and a half per gallon cheaper

Gas is a great option, I agree the larger tank is clutch.  I can make it from Arlington to the Costco in Helena on a tank fully loaded with gear and dudes.  My last truck limped into Exit 1 in Idaho on one tank.

If the Ecoboost engines have the large tank option I could make it even further.

I've got an '06 Duramax myself.

I don't like the price differential, but I figure If I switch to gas that diesel will get cheaper......

I feel like I played this game once before and prices flopped.   Am I remembering wrong?

I have the same truck bought new in 06 and your memory is the same as mine! Diesel was almost free until I bought that truck :chuckle:
