Belly band issues on whoa training question (Update)
« on: December 18, 2022, 12:21:38 PM »
Hey guys I’ve ran into an issue and wanted to see if anyone has had the same
My French Brittany at the time was about 15 months old he’s pretty soft so I’ve been going slow I had been doing the checkcord around the belly for awhile and no issues when I put the belly band on at first seemed fine just uncomfortable for him not being use to it then he would start volcalizing like it was the end of the world I would call him to me and take it off then put it back on 5-10 minutes later no issues running around playing then same thing (collar is not turned on by the way) is it possible the issue is the collar is just slipping back a little and putting pressure on his man parts?  Or is he just punking me?I have not gone back to this for a couple months been just working on heel and whoaing and doing great at that
Collar is only snug not tight at all
I have seen some conditioning being done just with collar on neck is this something that I’ll need to do is instead of the belly band?
Just curious if anyone has had this issue
Thank you in advance

During this long weekend I tried the belly band again in short sessions
He was a little clingy and unsure but I had him fetching his bumper a couple times so he would move around more and so far so good👍
