AKC Australian Shepherd Puppies
« on: December 19, 2022, 07:10:48 PM »
Welcome to North Idaho Aussies!

 Happy, Healthy, Intelligent

If you take a look at a normal day at North Idaho Aussies, you will witness many hours of hard work. A great puppy starts with great parents, we look at health, temperament, and quality. Happy parents play a huge role in healthy, happy puppies, so lots of attention, off-leash walks, hikes, on-leash training, brushing, and obedience training are all in a day's routine for our adult dogs. Our pets are NOT kept in kennels. They are part of our family, which requires many hands and lots of hard work. Not to mention all the office hours, sanitizing, and cleaning it takes to ensure a healthy, clean and happy environment! Our puppies join your family extremely well socialized and tolerant of new environments. Our standards are high, which requires an immense amount of time and financial investment, and in return produces your dream puppy.

Our adults are AKC show line not working/field line. They live with us in our home. Their adult weights are 38-50 lbs. All our females are blue and red merles, our males are gorgeous black tris. They absolutely love the outdoors and ours specialize in shed hunting. We introduce them to their first sheds at 2-3 weeks of age and never stop training them! Last year they found 60+ sheds in the thick woods and tall fields of North Idaho. There is nothing funnier than a 40 lb dog trying to bring back a moose shed that’s practically as big as them 😂

Check out our website www.Northidahoaussies.com or our instagram or Facebook.

Our prices are $2000 for tris and $2500 for merles. BUT anyone from this sight we will give a $500 discount on a pup. This discount is only shown on this page, I only offer it because my wife and I love seeing our pups go to outdoors type people.

Those are just the big ones from last year. They are phenomenal shed dogs! My wife works them daily, we are already scouting our areas and watching the herds from a distance. Aussies are crazy smart and want to please! They found three sets last yr that would go over 180” with a moderate spread in the low 20s, one single if it was matched and a spread in the mid 20s would of gone over 200”. The biggest find was a whitetail shed under a downed spruce that is nontypical has like 14 points on it. They are good at finding morels too 😂

Was lucky last few days and able to babysit a pup from our last litter. Their family had a vacation planned and asked us if we’d help out. We are always willing to help! It’s so fun seeing how your pups turn out and this big guy is no exception. His colors are coming in incredible!

We do have a litter expected the end of this month with one of our smaller females, she is amazing!
