HELP! English Setter
« on: May 26, 2009, 05:36:10 PM »
Hello

I recently brought 3 English Setters home after responding to another board.  A fellow hunter and Dog lover was recently terribly injured on the Job.  He took a fall from a 20' ladder and broke himself up bad.  I just met Peter and we have now become good friends.

He was heart broken to have to give up his pups but he had no was of taking care of them let alone train them.  He is also in a bad position as he can no longer work and he and his wife are expecting.

I brought these dogs home to care for them and have started some basic training with them.  They are 10 months old and are very well bread.  2 females Bandit & Blue and 1 male ED.

I am now going to try and sell the females on behalf of Peter and his wife.  They are great people and could really use the money.

If anyone is looking for a great hunting dog or knows anyone who is please have them contact me.

Here are a couple pics of the Pups

They are really nice looking setters. You shouldn't have too much of a problem. Try calling Carlson's Canine Country Club and get a hold of Jim Cochran. He is the pointer trainer. He might have some ideas.
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the grey twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
