I’ve heard it’s from that Yellowstone show. 5 years ago every pawn shop had at least a couple marlins on the rack, and you could usually find one for less than $300 if you shopped around. Sort of like all the old Remington 700 BDL rifles that would sit stale on the racks, all of a sudden they became collectible because Remington went bankrupt, despite the fact that there’s probably 10 million of them out there…
Levers are epic! Is that the new word? I am so stale when it comes to trendy words! Lol!But yes levers are very awesome! I have owned many over the years.Just added bling to these two BLR’s….
I must admit I wouldn't mind having a 30-30 Marlin 336 with a reflex style red dot. That would be a sweet brush gun for Blacktail.
My only lever gun is a 348 Winchester.

Sad that the only levers left are not affordable for the common working man anymore.I grew up in upstate NY and every body had a Winchester or Marlin with a few Savages thrown in.
Old photo of some lever guns from the past. No skin showing. No dirty dancing. No cute catch phrases. They were dope ... when dopamine wasn't cool.
Cause everyone that owns one refuses to sell them.
