Moved to WA from the midwest in 2019 with my family live near Seattle. I'm looking for an archery elk western wa partner. This September 2023 will be my 5th attempt for elk in WA. I'm 38 and have been hunting all my life. Feel like I'm going to get an elk this year and figured it out, but it took me 4 seasons of hunting hard. Last year I called in a 5x5 but couldn't get it in bow range and past up a spike bull at 30 yards. Willing to share what I learned if I can find someone who shares the passion (obsession) and can pull their weight (packed out an bull elk before and if you can't walk up/down steep terrain with at least 75lbs on your back you will be in trouble). Also snagged a mod firearm unit 24 Idaho deer tag so if anyone else is heading this way in October that would be cool.
