My wife drew a Unit 5 Bull Moose tag.  First time she ever put in for a OIL tag.  She calls me up and says I just sent you and email.  From who?  Bad News?  She says I'll just wait on the line until it pops up.  Holy smokes Honey you drew a moose permit.  That's out of this world!!  We hang up.  About 30 seconds later I get an email from Idaho Fish and Game.  Oh this must be my rejection email.  Fred Moyer Congrats you drew a Unit 5 Bull Moose Permit.   

Two bull permits out of the 10 available.  What are the chances of that ever happening!!!!!!

Fred, you and your wife certainly paid your dues getting settled in Idaho. I'd say this is well deserved.

Draw odds info is up...application numbers increased by ~10% for M,S,G over 2022...guessing it will be even higher for D,E,A.

I live here in 5 and drew that tag in '18, the hunting is very tough right now for bull moose here and was then as well.  15 years ago this was a great hunt, not anymore sadly.  fyi, The CDA tribe has their own hunt and that complicates things greatly.
