Caribou's Candilum - "Candy" will be missed. Large Munsterlanders are special! They teach me every outing something new! Finally processed this, lost her a month ago to stomach cancer, she was 13.

Nothing worse than the loss of a dog, especially a good one you hunt with. Been there a couple of times and don't wish that pain on anyone. I have been more upset with the loss of my old springer than I have been with humans. The bond with a hunting dog is one only dog bird hunters understand. Hang in there

I'm sorry for your loss. I just had to put my lab down on Monday :'( He was 13 also. Nothing easy about saying goodbye to a big part of the family.

I'm sorry you lost her, BDD. They're certainly part of our families.

Condolences. Losing a friend is always tough. We have never had one make it 13 years yet, that bond just grows stronger. Best wishes!
