I don't actually hunt anymore Dan-O. I just reload, chauffeur,  and pack meat :chuckle:

Awesome job everyone! Enjoy seeing the kids success. There’s definitely nothing like it. I still think I get more excited when my son or wife are successful than when I am. Just gets me jacked up to be able to get somebody out there Who may not yet have all the refined skills you have and have it all come together by teaching and coaching them through the highs and lows of the hunt. Mine has came full circle and is 18 now. Still have all the great memories and I can still drag him away from his girlfriend for a weekend or two during bear, elk and deer season. But my days of planning my whole season around when he can get out around his practices, school, social life are definitely over. Bitter sweet but at least he has the skills he can accomplish it with or without me. I felt kind of left out the first time he said him and his friends were going to go fishing  and didn’t need me to tagalong. But at the same time was pretty proud when they came back with a stringer full of fish. Cherish each day you have a field with them and if we are lucky they will let us shuffle around their hunting camps when we are old and keep the coffee hot while we tell the same old stories of the good old days every night

Wyatt got his first bear last night. Easily could have doubled but figured one was enough to drag up and out of that hole🤮

Love it, that's fantastic. How old is Wyatt?

I'll add one to the pile. The result of a long steep hike on Friday, and a much more brutal trek down the next. Just had to pick the last two hottest days of the year this time.

My brother-in-law and I were able to take these two bears on Labor day. They were both munching on huckleberries.
