Director defends down listing as part of the agreed process. Govenor puts thumb on the scale.

Inslee does love his environmentalist money.  :bash:

And Inslee said moving wolves off the state endangered species list “would be counter to public opinion and would put aside the stakeholder-developed Wolf Conservation and Management Plan.”

  • Public opinion should not be relevant to species management. Public opinion on wolves in 1923 was "kill em all".
  • The stakeholders for wolf management are the people living with wolves, who overwhelmingly want them downlisted to say the least.
  • The management plan was put aside when we ignored the fact that we exceeded population objectives

I'm surprised his eyes arent brown, Inslee is so full of *censored* he has to at least have horrid breath.
What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.

He's one of the nation's most corrupt politicians and the money someone offers him is all the ethics he needs. This is the case with environmental activism.

I did leave a comment to downlist.

I made comment to this at the WDFW Commission meeting on Saturday. We probably could've met population objectives a year or two ago considering all wolf counts are MINIMUM counts (crap they already know :bash: ). No one knows how many lone wolves or expanding pairs there are. It should be clear as day that they are no longer "endangered" here.
