Inability to Post Pics
« on: August 21, 2023, 09:28:07 AM »
For a couple of months now, I get an error message stating "This page isn’t workinghunting-washington.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500" when hitting submit after attaching a pic. This happens regardless of picture size (I have them sized below the max threshold). It happens on both browsers, as well as my phone. I can make standard posts and standard replies, but not post pics.

I've been trying to share our bear hunting pics for a couple of months to no avail. Any advice?

All screenshots will post, simply as that.😉

Let’s bump this.

For this site to continue to succeed it needs to adapt and be user friendly.

I have been a member for a long ass time. Pre I phone.

It appears there has been little to no adaptation, and subsequently, I tend to push to FB market place vs holding up fellow PNW members.

Admins, aside from a photo resize, or any multi step process, what can we do?

I’m not a tech guy. I know most of the users are not young……

Long story short the easiest way to post photos is to take a screen shot of the photo with your phone and upload that. I sent you a pm also.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Do you use a phone?

I use the Tapatalk app on my phone. Posting photos via Tapatalk is incredibly simple. You don’t have to resize. You don’t have to screenshot. Nothing. Reply, click the camera roll icon, check the pics you want to post, click done. Yer done.

I don’t understand why more people don’t use the app. Especially if you’re on a phone. I even use it on my iPad.
