Absolutely. Some areas off limits I think, but lots of good opportunity in there. Plenty of participation. I hear the shots at day break from my house all winter long.

:yeah:  If the bird you shoot lands on the slough, you better retrieve it fast because of the current.  Otherwise, you would lose the bird.

Great hunting in all the sloughs. Go enjoy. Stay on the water and shoot the birds so they stay on the water. Some areas are ok to go on land and some are not. Take a kid and keep the sport alive!!!

Used to slay big cuts when allowed
Silver fishing can ba epic, when legal
Bird fishing, bring a long handled net
One shot. One kill!

Be careful where and what you park anywhere in that general area, lots of break-ins.

Just pay attention to your no shooting zones. A lot of the islands for some reason are “unincorporated parks” and can’t be shot from according to this map.  I also think you have to be so many feet are yards from a no shooting zone so mind that as well. I’ve hunted the slough with a kayak before it’s fun.

Yeah that map was the reason i was asking actually. Are there any no shooting zones that apply to a watercraft once you tuck away from the roads and trails?

Sounded like a moderate sized militia down there this morning, must have been lots of birds flying.

By the map it looks like there are no water hunting restrictions off the Snoho end anyways. As far as through the "Park" areas to the north, I would guess shooting from the water is fine, just leave the gun in the boat if one drops on shore....
