You should go back in the summer and hike a little.in those Uintah mountains.  Dotted with small fishing  lakes and truly beautiful country. That mountain range is the only range in the US that runs east/west.  Almost entirely wilderness and still.quite pristine. Certainly a good area to ready you for possible high altitude hunts later on.  Good memories of that country in my youth.
